When you think about Mustangs going on sale, you probably think about the automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company.  But recently the BLM has been selling Mustangs, that is, the legendary wild horses, for a reasonable $125 each.  The reason for the BLM’s mustang closeout sale of sort is because some 32,000 of the horses, roaming the ranges in 10 states, are exacting a toll on the environment as their unchallenged herds double every 10 years.  While some mustangs can be placed in government owned facilities, others are sold to private owners willing to adopt the animals after they complete an application and health care agreement.  This private-public partnership will hopefully see Mustang sales take off and ride!
