Is Europe headed toward a major energy crisis? Well the unfortunate answer may be “Yes,” according to energy expert Dr. Hildegard von Liechtenstein of the Thomas More Institute in Paris. According to Dr. Liechtenstein, a nation like France, which exports electricity generated from nuclear power, may soon need to keep all its energy for itself. And other nations which have cut back on coal and bound themselves to Kyoto mandates may soon face enormous energy shortfalls. Indeed, with Swiss officials already planning for periodic power cuts to entire towns and industrial zones in coming years, it may be lights out, quite literally, for many Europeans.
