Recently, NASA announced that this past October was the warmest one on record, thus setting off headlines around world about global warming. But according to an article in the UK Telegraph, NASA’s finding contained a galactic error. It appears that Dr. James Hanson, a noted global warming advocate and friend of Al Gore, used data from Russia and elsewhere that was taken not in October, but was gathered in September, to get his result. Since those temperatures were at least 10 degrees higher than normal October readings, the results were obviously skewed. In truth, October was a rather cold month, particularly here in the U.S. where it ranked as only the 70th warmest in the last 114 years!
