Fox News recently released documents where United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) discusses how to use environmental policies to expand its reach and power. UNEP plans to use the media frenzy in the wake of the Copenhagen Climate Summit to launch its strategy.
Lord Christopher Monckton, a former adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and member of CFACT’s delegation to the Copenhagen Climate Summit, agrees.
“I read the Copenhagen treaty,” says Lord Monckton. “And what it says is this; that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity.”
Monckton explains how the UN will create global governance, using the same method the EU used in a new video released by CFACT.
“The EU model is being taken by the UN as a shining model of what they want to achieve at Copenhagen,“ says Lord Monckton. “At first it will appear to be a little technocratic committee, just like the European Union. Start small so nobody notices, but make sure that it is made by treaty so all countries are bound by it thereafter. A treaty is the only way that your constitution created by your founding fathers, can be overridden by foreigners.”
