An off-the-cuff speech and question and answer session featuring Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus was the highlight of day one of the Seventh International Conference on Climate Change, hosted by the Heartland Institute and sponsored by CFACT.

CFACT’S Marc Morano regaled the hundreds of attendees at lunch, and CFACT Senior Advisor Paul Driessen expounded on the runaway EPA during a morning session.

CFACT advisors Dennis Avery, Craig Oasis, and William Gray also had their turns at the lectern, while CFACT staff threw a Global Warming Beach Party at their booth, handing out leis and copies of Paul Driessen’s report, “The EPA’s Unrelenting Power Grab.”
