Stimulus money used to buy Chinese solar panels

CFACT’s Marc Morano appeared on Fox News today to discuss the revelation that stimulus funds were used to purchase solar panels from China.

“It’s a classic government boondoggle,” said Morano. “Renewables aren’t going to power the U.S. or China. …$250 billion is spent globally on renewable energy including solar panels; and this money is going to produce less than 3% of electricity worldwide.”
