Is there a scientific consensus about global warming? Well many environmental leaders have claimed for years that a consensus does support belief in catastrophic, human-induced climate change. But in fact, there may be a consensus after all, albeit in a radically opposite direction. According to James Taylor writing on Forbes.com, a recent report indicates only 36% of earth scientists and engineers believe humans are creating a warming crisis. Indeed, a strong majority says nature is the primary cause of warming, or that future warming will not be a serious problem. With two recent surveys of meteorologists showing similar results, this may not be the consensus global warmists are looking for.
