No consensus among scientists on global warming

It’s been widely touted that 97% of scientists believe global warming is mostly driven by human activities. But according to meteorologist Anthony Watts, this alleged consensus is extremely deceptive since it was not derived from scientists’ opinions of their own work, but the assessment of warming believers who rated scientist beliefs based on their own judgments. Further refuting this hollow consensus is a genuine survey recently conducted by the American Meteorological Society that found nearly half of survey respondents, or 48%, questioning whether global warming is happening at all, or if human activity is the primary cause. So apparently, a consensus on warming may simply have been wishful thinking.
