Scare pollution

Has the EPA tried to justify crippling regulations by using scary scenarios that misrepresent actual costs and benefits? Steve Milloy, publisher of junkscience.com, has a new book on the subject called “Scare Pollution,” and has this to say: “Scare Pollution is an alarming narrative of concocted dangers and contorted science, used to unlawfully expand the reach of an already too powerful government agency. The EPA, for example, tried to justify President Obama’s global warming rules by using illegal experiments exposing old and sick people to high levels of diesel exhaust. EPA has a long history of hiding key research data from congress and the public. EPA’s toxic misbehavior must be stopped.
