Toast to UN climate exit in Germany

Conference-goers are united in their conviction that the UN imposes massive economic and political costs upon developed nations that cannot be justified by the benefits, of which there may be none, flowing from the pact.

African NGOs want to kick U.S. out of UN climate conference

Expelling the U.S. delegation would be unbelievably disruptive. These are supposed to be delicate diplomatic affairs. There is no provision in the Paris Agreement for this kind of terminal action, or in the underlying UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which is a duly ratified U.S. treaty. Fun facts: The U.S. pays 22% of the UN budget and 20% of the UN climate process.

The Climate Empire is striking back!

CFACT is right now sending a crack delegation of climate policy experts to the UN meeting in Bonn. Will you help CFACT break the Green-Left's monopoly on climate and energy policy and set America and the world free?

U.S. government “climate report” timed for Bonn UN conference

Friday's release of the wildly alarmist "Climate Science Special Report" or CSSP has brought forth the predictable green gush from the lefty press. The fact that this is an official federal report that contradicts the Trump Administration's climate skepticism is its big selling point. That the release is strategically timed with the beginning of the grand UN climate control festival in Bonn, Germany makes it more than timely. That the science is crap is irrelevant.

What natural disasters should teach us

Ugandan author Steven Lyazi scoffs at the chiding and covert racism of wealthy environmental advocates who live in luxury but demand a lower quality lifestyle for Africans. He points the finger at the Club of Rome for banning DDT once they realized that Africans not dying from malaria and other diseases would live longer and have more children. His words echo the toothless declarations that sustainable development restrictions should not apply to the very poor.

Climate alarmists exploiting hurricanes are misguided

CFACT policy advisor Larry Bell refutes the claims of alarmist activists that hurricanes Harvey and Irma were "enhanced" as a result of climate change -- and shows that the same alarmists had made the same statements in prior years regarding prior hurricanes -- and then there was a 12-year lull.

“The Uncertainty Has Settled”

CFACT highly recommends showing this film to friends and neighbors. Marijm Poels is an honest man. The kind of person who can bring reconciliation through exposing the truth for all to see. We salute this work.

Decades of climate hysteria unsupported by data

CFACT policy analyst Larry Bell chronicles the hysteria over climate change over the past 100 years-- starting in 1922 when the Washington Post predicted most coastal cities would be uninhabitable "within a few years." But by 1974 Time Magazine was warning of an impending Ice Age. It was back to warming by 1989 -- but the warming trend fizzled out by the end of the world (er, Y2K) -- leaving money-hungry activists with "climate change" as their solgan word -- a term now defined as anything that happens is bad but we at the UN can just have all of your money,
