CFACT's Marc Morano appeared on Canada's Sun New TV to discuss scientists' claims about particular years being the "hottest." Scientists have called idea that we are in hottest decade 'a joke."

Battery maker ENER1 goes belly up

Appearing on the Neil Cavuto Show on Fox News, CFACT's Marc Morano laid the wood to the whole idea that government knows best in research and development.  Cavuto first presents President Obama making his case that, "We've got to invest in solar and wind and biofuels," and in another clip, "Government support is critical in helping businesses get new ideas off the ground." Morano first points out that 80% of the $80 billion in stimulus package loans through the Department of Energy went to Obama campaign donors and that many of these projects are now in or near bankruptcy.  One reason [...]

CFACT parachutes into Durban Climate Conference

Earlier today, CFACT's skydiving team parachuted past COP17 onto Amanzimtoti beach. The divers trailed smoke and banners proclaiming "Climategate 2.0, Science Not Settled" and "No New Treaty." Multiple media outlets showed up to record the event, including the AP, BBC, and South Africa's national news network. It was a huge success! Climategate 2.0 can not be ignored! The second batch of emails from scientists working on the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change contain shocking revelations which show an insular cadre of climate scientists coordinating efforts to place advocacy ahead of science, stifle dissent, and conceal information which detracts from a [...]

CFACT's Marc Morano, editor of Climate Depot, appears on the Alex Jones Show to discuss the fall of Al Gore as Gore's so-called Climate "Reality" Project flops. Morano pointed out that Gore's 24-hour telethon was "so atrocious, so offensive that even committed global warmists are bailing on Gore."

Morano on Fox News on collapse of global warming science

CFACT's Marc Morano, editor of ClimateDepot, appeared on Fox News to discuss the collapse of scientific support for man-made global warming, and specifically a new peer-reviewed paper by Dr. Roy Spencer that shows global temperatures have not been warming according to NASA satellite data. Morano said that as the man-made global warming fear is exposed as "sub-prime science,"  the alarmists will find other justifications because it "is a political movement at its heart. . . Al Gore is going to try to shift this into an extreme weather event. They are now going to say that every weather event from tornadoes, [...]

Marc Morano, editor of CFACT's Climate Depot website, recently appeared on Fox News to discuss President Obama's call for one million electric cars by 2015. The problem, Morano pointed out, is the EPA has declared war on coal fired power plants, which produce half of America's electricity.   Click here to sign CFACT's petition to end EPA's radical agenda

CFACT’s Morano on Fox News on climate and tornado link

CFACT's Marc Morano, editor of Climate Depot, appeared on Fox News to explain the absurdity of blaming tornadoes on global warming. Said Morano: "The idea that our SUVs are causing severe tornadoes is no better than in 1450 when Aztec priests encouraged people to sacrifice to the gods to end severe drought. We are going back to a primitive culture where we actually think we can affect the weather." Global warming alarmists blame any extreme weather event on climate change. As Morano pointed out, "Nobel prize winning economist Thomas Schelling wished for 'horrid things' like a lot of tornadoes in order [...]

Congress bickers over biodegradable forks

CFACT's Marc Morano, editor of Climate Depot, appeared on Fox News with Neil Cavuto to discuss congressional Democrat's fight for biodegradable forks, knives, and spoons in the congressional cafeteria. Under Nancy Pelosi's "Green the Capitol" initiative, the flatwear in the Capitol's cafeteria was replaced with biodegradable utensils made from corn starch. They soon proved impractical, actually melting in hot soup and too flimsy to even eat a salad. Bipartisan complaints rolled in from all quarters. Now that the House is under GOP control, the "green" forks are history, and useful utensils are back in diners' hands. Some members of Congress, however, [...]

CFACT’s Morano explains on Fox News why Greens are happy with high gas prices

Marc Morano, editor of CFACT's Climate Depot website, appeared on Fox News with Neil Cavuto yesterday to discuss the recent spike in oil and gas prices in the wake of instability in the Middle East. Neil Cavuto asked why, instead of getting oil from Libya's Moammar Gadhafi and other Middle East countries, America doesn't drill for more oil domestically. Morano replied, "The Congressional Research Service just did a study of natural gas, coal, and oil. We have more than the entire world, we have more than China, Canada, and Saudi Arabia combined, but 83% of our lands are inaccessible for oil [...]

CBS News covers CFACT’s human hamster wheel at CPAC

CFACT's campus arm, Collegians For A Constructive Tomorrow, is in D.C. this week for CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference), and they are already drawing attention with a human-sized hamster wheel! CBS News covered the story, demonstrating that CFACT's Collegians have a knack for creative activism that communicates our message of free-market environmentalism to a large audience. (Click here for the press release) This time, Collegians has targeted renewable energy. Radical environmentalists and the Obama administration want America to stop using the reliable clean coal power that supplies the country with affordable electricity.
