Torch bearing radicals descend on pipeline executive’s home

It’s the kind of scene we’d like to think we’d put behind us.

Yet here it is again.

How would you like to look outside and see masked radicals with torches on your front lawn?

That’s what greeted Mark Maki and his family.

Maki was targeted for this shameful act of intimidation because he is a member of the board of Enbridge Energy Management which works with oil pipelines.

The masked perpetrators refused to identify themselves, or their group, claiming only that they represent “the people.”  Their banner includes the words “solidarity means attack!”  The age of the eco-terrorist is upon us.

This comes at a time when both parties are coming around to the realization that pipelines are the safest, most economical and environmentally sound way to move petroleum, particularly after several bad train accidents.

The radicals are in danger of losing the pipeline issue and they know it.  Their response is to act out and threaten sabotage.

Not too long ago Marc Morano, who edits CFACT’s award-winning Climate Depot Morano interviews pipeline protesternews and information service, asked an anti-pipeline protestor if they were ready to engage in “eco-terrorism.”  The protestor replied that they would do “whatever it takes” to prevent the project.  It appears now that such threats are more than mere hyperbole.  Law enforcement needs to be on alert.

The most high profile pipeline project in the country right now is the Keystone XL.  It has been the subject of years of wasteful and foolish obstruction.  It is time for President Obama to end all delays, listen to his own State Department, pick up his vaunted pen, sign his name and authorize Keystone XL once and for all.

Paul Driessen has the facts on Keystone XL at  They are important.

Mister President, the time has come.  Authorize Keystone XL today.  Will you side with ignorance, radicalism and intimidation, or the economic, energy and environmental needs of the nation?

No American, no matter who they are or where they stand, should ever fear threats from masked radicals with torches outside their home again.

Such intimidation cannot be tolerated.

I wonder if the Proletariat will show up as a mob to deal with this mob.

I would not advise these eco terrorists to step foot on the property of many people in states where we have the Castle Doctrine………you CAN and WILL be shot for trespassing.

I would say that a “castle doctrine” is unnecessary. Anyone approaching your home carrying a torch could be seen as an immediate threat to you and your family. Blammo!!! Twelve gauge round to the chest. They certainly are very klanlike.

Most are too young to have seen pictures similar to these that were prevalent in Germany in the late 1920s-early 1930s. These people were storm troopers (Sturmabteilung or SA) of the Nationalist Socialist Party–a political party that rose from obscurity to taking over Germany in a decade. They should carry the label of storm troopers today to hopefully embarrass them out of existence.
If they came to my house today; I would go out and offer them hot chocolate or coffee because it is cold outside. Maybe treating them with kindness will make them see their faults and act civil. I suspect there are many Germans who took that tack and were killed out of naïvete.

It is hard to understand why those simple, covered up nitwits would NOT follow their spiritual leader’s example.
The dumb narcist clown Barry Hussein Obama with his communist and islamic leanings tells those misinformed brainless followers at every public utterance that CO2 is the cause of everything bad in this world.
Thus the pipeline construction to transport CO2 products must be halted at all costs; word of their god Barry!
Barry is too keen on destroying the US to take a pen and sign the necessary papers to set the pipeline construction in movement.
Maybe his left-handedness makes it easier NOT to do what a good “organizer” should do!

I’m no Democrat nor am I Republican. But my experience has been that when Republicans lose elections and Congress they act like spoiled bratty kids who didn’t get their way. Anyone who buys the lies of these parasites from the fossel fuel industry is either stupid or has not done his/her research. This pipeline has already leaked in many places and caused extensive damage to the area’s land, air, water, and people’s lives. Everytime one of the fossel fuel executives get a bill for breaking the law or for damages, they write it off as business expense, letting the rest of the country that works mostly at minimum wages and pays 38% in taxes every pay day, as opposed to these billionaires who pay maybe 15% tax if that, and many pay nothing, The workers who do the fracking get silicoses, it’s like black lung disease. There is no cure and it’s terminal. The land where this fracking is done is destroyed, looks like a nightmare from Freddy Kruger. The land becomes worthless, as do the homes of the people living near it. For those who want this, you can pay for it… can have it run through your property, send yourself and family up to do the fracking and live on that land. And Republicans claim to b e Christian, moral, ethical. That is B.S. The only thing Republicans are good at are crying when they don’t get their way and get all the big money their busineses make or their campaign donors don’t give or make. I have had it with the greed of the Republicans. Whenvever you get into office, everyone else can go to hell. The country becomes nothing but super super rich and very poor. You don’t have the guts or the willingness to go the wars….nope, you create situations to cause civil strife and wars, bc you make huge sinful profits from war….armanments, military, contractors, etc. But you don’t go to war…nope, you send others to war, and their children, and spouses, and parents… You stay home and live in luxury, send your kids to the greatest schools, and get the best paying jobs, while the rest come home in body bags or severely injured requiring 24/7 medical care, which they don’t get. The homeless vets you take away their pensions and their food. You are horrible, greedy, parasitic, arrogant heartless oligarchs, kleptocrats, fascists, plutocrats, tyrants.

Environmental jihadists, including the obamidiot, state clearly that pipelines cause pollution. Following their way of thinking, ships also create the same if not more pollution. All shipping must stop immediately. North America can progress quite nicely without any contact to any other area or country.
We can all help tremendously by refusing to buy Made in China or Asia.
