CFACT’s Marc Morano, Director of Communications and editor of Climate Depot, appeared on a Fox News debate on energy policy. Morano slammed the Biden Administration for replicating Jimmy Carter’s failed foreign policy and energy policy of the past.

Morano: “The Washington Post lamented that Jimmy Carter didn’t win a second term in 1980, and the Post lamented Ronald Reagan won. The paper said that if Carter had won a second term, we could have solved the climate crisis. The media really loved Jimmy Carter’s first term, his only term and that’s literally what Joe Biden seems to be replicating to a tee — everything down to the projection of weakness to the foreign policy disasters to energy crisis to inflation. It’s amazing and I don’t think the voters are going to let Biden forget that.”

Morano on Biden’s energy policies: “I think the key point here is when it comes to inflation, it’s being driven by these high energy costs. And one of the things you can say that President Biden did with his rhetoric and actions and with the Treasury Department defunding fossil fuels — he sent a signal to all the energy markets, that America is closed for energy exploration.”

“And immediately you can look at the charts that almost the day President Biden was inaugurated, gas prices started to climb.”
