Are the environmentalist policies being pursued by rich industrialized nations having an adverse impact on the developing world? Well such is the claim of a provocative new book called “Eco-Imperialism: Green power, Black death.” Comments author Paul Driessen: “Two billion people still don’t have electricity. Two million die every year from malaria, millions more from malnutrtion, dysentery, and lung diseases. And eco-zealots are telling these desperate people they can’t have fossil fuels, pesticides, or biotechnology. Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore is right. The environmental movement has lost its objectivity, morality, and humanity, and is imposing a lethal eco-imperialist agenda that can no longer be tolerated.”
