Claims that there is rock solid science backing up the theory of man-made global warming took a major hit in recent weeks as allegation emerged of serious fraud in papers used by the United Nations. According to reports, a British mathematical researcher named Douglas Keenan found that while global warming proponents claimed that certain weather monitoring stations were chosen because they had little change of location, he determined that many had indeed been moved, with one having five different locations as much as 40 kilometers apart. Since such changes can obviously affect readings from before and after each move, he says the researchers claims were “fabricated” and call into question a key U.N. assessment.
