Reduce, reuse and recycle is the mantra for many who are green-conscious. But just how far are some willing to take this? Well believe it or not, the new rage among many in the environmental community is to forgo one of mankind’s chief comforts – toilet paper. Yes, to show their love for the planet, some are championing the use of old cloths and T-shirts, so- called “reusable” toilet paper, as a more eco-conscious means of getting the job done right. By simply stacking clean cloths in the bathroom and using a container to discard soiled ones, these advocates say they are saving trees and preventing yet more discarded paper from clogging our sewers. One must think that for most families anyway, this notion of reusable toilet paper will likely get flushed.
