You already get loads of global warming propaganda from TV and movies, so why not from a new play under the bright lights of Broadway? Well that’s what’s about to happen, now that the National Science Foundation has given a 3-year, $700,000 grant to a New York theater company for an upcoming play called “The Great Immensity.” According to Broadwayworld.com, the play will focus on the story of a photojournalist who disappears in panama, sparking an international search by her sister facing polar bears, tundras, and snakes, all the while grappling with the hopeless realities of climate change. With a panel discussion to accompany the production, you have to wonder if Al Gore will get to make his first Broadway cameo appearance.
