Marchers at the climate protests near the United Nations’ 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland called for socialist takeovers of the world’s economic and political systems.

While some claim that the climate change movement is only about the science and improving the environment, participants interviewed by CFACT didn’t make any mention of science. The protesters only talked about the supposed problems with capitalism and the need for socialism. Marchers chanted “no more pollution, we need a revolution!”

One called for socialist “control” of resources while another said “drastic action by governments” was needed because “it can’t be down to people to do their own thing.”
