James Taylor, president of the Heartland Institute, appeared on One America News Network (OANN) to address the issue of Dominion Energy’s Coastal Virginia offshore wind project (CVOW) and its threat to the right whale. The Heartland Institute is a member of the save the right whale coalition with CFACT.

“As it is with just over 300 right whales left, they are likely going to go extinct in the next several decades. There’s a chance we can save them,” Taylor said. “But a project like this just literally drives the nail in the coffin of right whales…Why are we promoting energy sources that just destroy habitats and destroy the species that we strive to protect?”
