For decades CFACT has worked with people in developing nations, helping them to advance through individual responsibility and entrepreneurship. In Uganda, micro-financing projects have built thriving enterprises.
CFACT works with David, who started a rabbit breeding project. The rabbits are multiplying like, well… rabbits! With CFACT’s help, David is constructing new cages to manage the increase.
CFACT also works with Timothy, who reports on CFACT’s Uganda piggery project in Wakiso Entebbe in Katabi sub-county. Timothy reports that in the beginning of 2024, he received money from CFACT for the expansion of his piggery. Timothy has been able to improve his pigsties and purchased higher quality breeding stock. Timothy dug 4 meters underground to place sawdust to keep the pigs’ area clean and dry.
They say give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he’ll eat for life.
CFACT can report that when you let a man teach you what he knows best and help him put together the resources he needs to put his expertise into action, everyone eats!
