Blot out the sun in the name of climate?

Such “geoengineering” schemes are “ethically preposterous, because using the planet as a test monkey for emerging technologies poses all sorts of risks.”

That’s a hard-hitting sample of what CFACT’s Chris Martz told a congressional subcommittee on Tuesday.

We posted Chris’ entire written submission to CFACT.org.

Chris Martz is a meteorologist whose writing and analysis on weather and climate science are first rate.  Thousands of people check in every day to discover what he will reveal next.

Chris made clear to our elected representatives that, contrary to what the climate campaigners would have you believe, scientists do not know with any meaningful precision how much global temperature changes are driven by man-made vs. natural forcings.

It would seem to be the stuff of a frightening science fiction story, yet as Chris explained to Congress, if mankind deliberately attempts to alter the climate, “the cure might be worse than the disease.”

Could short-sighted government meddling lead to catastrophic unintended consequences?

History tells us time and again that is cause for genuine alarm.
