Want to know a great way to cut down on human global warming emissions? Well how about getting women to stop admiring men who drive fancy sports cars! That, at least, was the idea put forward by British scientist, Sir David King, who told the London Telegraph the best thing women can do to ease global warming is to “stop admiring young men in Ferraris.” Many people, of course, question whether human activities have any real impact on climate. But King was simply trying to get at the larger point that government can only do so much to affect people’s behavior, and went on to suggest that for the eco-conscious, women should instead focus their affection on men in more environmentally friendly cars. Maybe as in “Hey, look at that guy in the Prius.”
