Recently, a group of scientists convened by the American Association for the Advancement of Science chastised the Bush Administration for its failure to sign onto the Kyoto global warming treaty.  They warned that increasing levels of carbon dioxide will create a global warming disaster.  But according to an article by science writer Steve Milloy of Foxnews.com, such concerns are overheated to say the least, as 95 percent of the greenhouse effect is due to water vapor from natural origins, and only about four percent comes from carbon dioxide.  More to the point, nearly all the carbon dioxide produced on the planet, some 97 percent, comes from nature, not man, which means our contribution to global warming is nothing to get all hot about.
