Thankful for freedom’s abundance

Let’s remember how fortunate we are to live in a country that can provide hundreds of millions of turkey dinners at a price anyone can afford all on the same day. Not because central planners decreed it should be so, but due to the power of a free market.

Anyone blathering on about Socialism should stop and contemplate the marvel of the modern supermarket.

We’re thankful for our efficient economy but we do not take freedom for granted.

We’re also thankful to have so many fantastic friends, readers and supporters.  You make everything we do every day worth it.

CFACT’s Bonner Cohen is a first rate scholar.  I posted a link to his article on California fires that’s running right now at The Hill.  Free markets create incredible abundance.  California’s counter-productive regulatory environment provides a perfect example of what not to do.

Everyone at CFACT wishes you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.

And let’s be thankful for those how have generational ethics and keep an eye on the economic externalities which take from our children to feed us all.
