Last week was hectic but rewarding for the CFACT crew as they joined thousands of other Americans descending our nation’s capital for the 2025 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Hosted at the beautiful Gaylord National Resort and boasting some of the biggest names in politics, including President Trump and Vice President Vance, the CFACT staff of manned a convention booth, conducted interviews on media row, and participated in breakout sessions to spread CFACT’s message to everyone in attendance far and wide.
Boasting a sea of attendees, dozens of speakers and scores of sponsoring exhibitors, CPAC 2025 was packed with action and excitement. To capitalize on the buzz in the air, CFACT crafted a hard-hitting commercial to be shown on the mainstage of CPAC 2025. Shown live to thousands of attendees and millions more watching from home, CFACT’s 30 second ad showed off its activism from throughout the country and around world, encouraging viewers to visit the organization’s websites.
While CFACT policy analysts were upstairs getting the word out that conservation is conservative, CFACT’s collegian national coordinator Nate Myers, president Craig Rucker, and other staff members were kept occupied manning the booth and engaging passersby.
Over the course of four days, the CFACT staff distributed infographics, books, documentary DVDs, and even candy as a game prize to hundreds of conference-goers. While many informed the staff they were supportive already and thanked CFACT for its work, there were still plenty of attendees who hadn’t heard the good news of free-market environmentalism. One booth visitor was so excited by CFACT’s mission that he donated funds on the spot!
All in all, the conference was a massive success. Thanks to the continued support of our dedicated supporters, CFACT was able to reach thousands of activists and spread its message in an impactful way.
