WATCH: Climate Depot’s Marc Morano says President Trump is pursuing ‘energy dominance’ on Fox’s ‘The Bottom Line.’
Excerpts:
Morano: The big challenge now is getting, as the Trump administration is trying to do, big AI to pay for more of these data center costs. We also need to point out that these are blue-state problems. As you mentioned, it’s California and other blue states with higher energy costs. But essentially, when you have an energy dominance agenda, and Donald Trump now is on record as having 250 actions to increase America’s domestic energy supply and overturn these climate policies, it does two things. First, it has an immediate effect on supply, increasing production. But the second is it sends a signal to the marketplace that America is open for business, that domestic energy is now going to be supported. And that, of course, has a deflationary impact on prices. And that’s almost equally as important as the actual increase in production. …
Morano: There’s a lag from when Donald Trump implements these energy policies to when hopefully their energy is going to overwhelm even the AI data center demands, and the prices will come down. It seems that if you look at the trajectory of everything Trump’s done, and this is only a year into his presidency, the hits just keep coming. Pulling out of the 1992 Rio UN Earth Summit treaty and now this Endangerment Finding.
