Did anyone watch the State of The Union address and Republican response. No mention of the Keystone XL pipeline or other important energy issues that could solve our unemployment problems.

Bill Nye has cemented my opinion that he is a certifiable idiot! He is willing to deny facts to suit his narrative. That isn’t science, it’s emotion.

Nye, science guy, this are scientific facts–a much better scenario than what you depicted:
Global Sea Ice is 93,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean. That is 0.5% below “normal”
Antarctic Sea Ice is 706,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean. That is 25% above ”normal”. Antarctic Sea Ice Extent actually rose 38,000 sq km from day 46 to day 47. Minimum could be near.
Arctic Sea Ice is 799,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean. That is 5.25% below “normal”.

How do the figures for depth of arctic/antarctic ice compare?
Calling CO2 pollution is scientific incompetence. Calling it carbon makes it sound more ominous and distracts from attending to possible real atmospheric pollutants from coal such as particulates, mercury, NOX and sulfur (as the Chinese are experiencing, especially with the smog in Beijing. The US uses precipitators to remove the real pollutants).
Search “agwunveiled” for proof that CO2 has no significant effect on climate and to discover what does effect climate (955 correlation since before 1900)
