Former Vice President Al Gore is preparing to host another 24-hour-long broadcast to to sound the alarm on manmade global warming, capping off a disappointing year for the world’s most famous climate activist.
WATCH GORE’S LAST GLOBAL WARMING TOWN HALL FIASCO:
Gore’s environmental group will put on “24 Hours of Reality” broadcast in early December, which will feature celebrity guest appearances, including actress Helen Hunt, musical performances and segments on what different parts of the world are doing about global warming.
As in past years, the Climate Reality Project, Gore’s activist group, claims millions will tune in to the broadcast, which will be hosted by Gore himself from New York City — ironically, labelled the world’s most wasteful city.
Gore’s 24 hours of global warming activism will cap off a rather disappointing year for the former vice president.
For starters, President Donald Trump completely ignored Gore’s advice and announced that he would withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate accord. Gore was a major backer of the Paris accord, which the Obama administration joined in 2015. Gore met with president-elect Trump in Trump Tower in 2016, where he personally implored him to stay in the Paris accord.
Gore even told reporters as late as April 2017 there was “a better than 50/50 chance that the Trump administration will decide to stay in the Paris Agreement.” His optimism was dashed in June.
If that wasn’t enough, the next installment of Gore’s “Inconvenient” films performed poorly at the box office, and was even panned by liberal critics.
Critics relentlessly attacked “An Inconvenient Sequel” as a self-indulgent tribute to himself. For example, famed movie critic Roger Ebert’s website said the film’s “other subject — the planet he’s trying to save — is pushed to the side every time his travails take center stage.”
AND WATCH A LIST OF SOME OF THE LATEST GLOBAL WARMING FAILS:
The Daily Caller New Foundation’s own review of the film came to this conclusion: “Al Gore’s New Movie Is 100 Minute Tribute To Al Gore.”
Moviegoers seemed to be harsher critics. Gore’s film tanked at the box office, finishing 16th at the box office in its second week in theaters — the first weekend in August, the film opened up to 180 theaters from just four in July.
In total, “An Inconvenient Sequel” earned just $5.4 million in theaters around the world, according to Box Office Mojo. Gore’s 2006 film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” earned nearly $50 million.
Adding insult to injury, the e-book accompanying Gore’s film was outsold by an e-book debunking “An Inconvenient Sequel.” Climate scientist Roy Spencer published his book in August, and it quickly overtook Gore’s place on Amazon’s Kindle store.
Spencer’s book reached 17th on Amazon’s best seller list for nonfiction books for the week of Sept. 10.

Al Gore is the world’s biggest fraud. Thank God that man didn’t become President.
Though I’m not a Gore fan, I have seen enough to know he knows more about climate science than you do by several orders of magnitude. He did take classes from Roger Ravelle. Now remind us again what your educational record is that makes you an authority on climate? Thanks for becoming my whipping post.
Indeed. Your turn cshorey. See the comments here…

Yeah, I’ve been around the block with Immortal and his cherished blog sites. I do plan on looking harder at his source that he thinks is going to get published. I stopped reading it when he tried to model the atmosphere as a blackbody. How is your head-vice holding up?

This years “24 Hours of Reality” will have a surprise finale of the broadcast being a high-kick contest featuring “settled-science” squad of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and guest kicker Bill Nye – The Science Guy. A real can’t lose extravaganza!
I love that when I try to discuss climate science with climate deniers, eventually I have to hear the name of Al Gore. Now what degrees does he have that are applicable to climate science? How many people here can get their head around the idea that climate science at its core is not political, but it has been politicized.
“This world is a strange madhouse,” remarked Albert Einstein in 1920 in a letter to his close friend, the mathematician Marcel Grossmann. “Every coachman and every waiter is debating whether relativity theory is correct. Belief in this matter depends on political affiliation.” Science don’t give a shit about your politics.
“Science don’t give a shit about your politics.” Nor does politics give a shit about science. Just ask Dr. Nutt, who was kicked off as advisor to the minister in charge of rolling out a new and more draconian ‘war on drugs’ in the UK, after having the temerity to call the then current drug risk table as scientifically unsound. The only climate deniers I know are those who deny climate changes unpredictably all by itself, albeit with regular cycles tied to silly things like ocean currents and solar variability from orbital dynamics ( our Solar orbit is an ellipse ) and sunspot cycles.
