Reports show global temperatures leveling off

Climate change skeptics are doing a bit of gloating following a series of mainstream media reports that acknowledge what those skeptics have long held -- the earth is not warming, at least not in the last 10 years.

What is ethical energy and why aren’t the candidates talking about it?

From Ron Arnold's article in The Washington Examiner: "To get some perspective on this exchange, I called Marc Morano, communications director of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, a positive voice on environment and development issues. Morano told me about his Climate Depot project and its current campaign, 'Ethical Energy.'"

Prospects for better economy at our feet

CFACT senior policy advisor Paul Driessen was cited in a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review article by Jack Markowitz: "Paul Driessen thinks the new abundance is simply panicking the greenies. Especially those with an economic, as well as emotional, stake in limits to growth."

CFACT’s Morano on Sen. Inhofe’s growing influence

Marc Morano, editor of CFACT's Climate Depot website, was recently quoted in a National Journal article on Senator James Inhofe, the most vocal critic of global warming science and policy in the U.S. Senate. The following is an excerpt from the original article at National Journal: If Republicans control the Senate [after the 2012 elections], Inhofe will be more than chairman like he was under then-President George W. Bush from 2003 to 2006. He’ll be the leading voice in a chamber where the political consensus on climate change has splintered within the Republican Party. And in the absence of comprehensive climate [...]

Washington Post compares Climate Depot to Drudge Report

Marc Morano is CFACT's editor in chief of Climate Depot, and he has been garnering extensive coverage lately. Last week he was cited in the Washington Times. This week it's the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang and Fox Nation. Today, Andrew Freedman of the Washington Post described Climate Depot as "the climate skeptic equivalent of the Drudge Report." Yesterday, Marc Morano wrote a story about how Al Gore, self-proclaimed inventor of the internet, had his website crash because it could not handle all the traffic it received after Drudge linked to it. That story was quickly picked up by Fox News, [...]

CFACT’s Morano exposes anti-American climate extremist

The editor of CFACT's Climate Depot, Marc Morano, was recently cited in a Washington Times editorial: Last week, blogger Marc Morano discovered a Nov. 24 blog post by Mr. Hansen calling on China to lead an international effort to impose fees on carbon-dioxide emissions, then lead the World Trade Organization to allow import fees on goods from any county - with the U.S. being the target - without such fees. The goal would be to punish America, causing “continual descent into second-rate and third-rate economic well-being,” until the “fossil-money- ‘democracy’” no longer “rules the roost in Washington.” Mr. Hansen also praised [...]

Climate Depot grabs spotlight for coverage of violent climate video

Marc Morano of CFACT's Climate Depot has been widely cited in the media this week. In the above video, Morano appeared on Fox News to discuss the violent climate change video recently released by the environmental group 10:10. In this video (you can watch the full version here, but be warned it is very graphic), a classroom of students are asked whether they plan to reduce their carbon footprints.  The few who dissent are murdered by their teacher – covering their classmates in blood.  Viewers are then treated to a repeat of this gory spectacle in business, sports and media settings. [...]

Climate Skeptics Gain Steam and Topple an Australian Liberal Leader

CFACT’s effort to promote sound science is really gaining steam and even the Financial Times recognizes that in a recent article. Mr. Turnbull was a leader in the Liberal Party in Australia and was removed from his position in part because of his alarmist views on global warming. The Australian Parliament went on to defeat the carbon trading scheme in a recent vote. CFACT’s executive director was quoted in the article: “Craig Rucker, director of the US-based Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, linked Mr Turnbull’s political demise to the “Climategate scandal” – the release a week ago by computer hackers of [...]

Climate Depot in the news

Marc Morano, the editor in chief of CFACT’s groundbreaking new website ClimateDepot.com, has been stirring up quite a fuss lately reporting all the latest news and developments in the fight against global warming alarmists like Al Gore.  Morano has been cited by three major news outlets in as many days.  On July 7, Sean Hannity of FOX News cited ClimateDepot.com and gave this comment: “Al Gore may have some explaining to do. It's been over three years since his global warming propaganda film hit theaters and, since that time, ClimateDepot.com reports that the Earth's temperature has actually dropped.” In an article [...]

Pat Boone commends CFACT in WorldNetDaily column

In a recent WorldNetDaily feature column, legendary singer Pat Boone took opportunity to both address the global warming issue and praise CFACT for working to establish some much needed balance on this important public policy issue. Focusing on the work of CFACT's good friend and colleague, Dr. S. Fred Singer, as well as the recent activities of CFACT's Collegians program, Boone writes: "I, for one, am grateful to find out about Dr. Singer and about CFACT and its collegiate campaign. I hope you'll visit www.cfact.org and www.cfactcampus.org and be dazzled as I was with what they present. Perhaps you'll join me [...]
