Forget ISIS — White House Declares War on CO2

World leaders -- other than Barack Obama -- are ignoring the United Nations as it tries very hard to promote the New York City climate conference as a major event. Meanwhile, President Obama and his coterie have been taking great pains not to alienate their antiwar base while plotting air strikes against the Islamic State that the President says is not Islamic.

Australia smacks down climate lobby’s scare mongering

While many are celebrating (and others condemning) Australia's vote to repeal its carbon tax, Marita Noon points out that the country's Renewable Energy Target must also be repealed in order to reverse the 70% increase in Australian energy bills that has come from this infatuation with "Green" policies.

Fixing our dictatorial EPA

The Obama Administration in 2013 alone imposed $1.86 trillion in new annual regulatory compliance costs for U.S. businesses and families, almost guaranteeing a flat economy at best. While only a few Americans consider environmental issues to be urgent, the EPA and the White House are doubling down on power generation, forcing prices upward and pressing for the shutdown of 40% of the U.S. energy base. All of this using "scientific research" (a) they they cannot even find, (b) that is "peer reviewed" only by cronies, or (c) that is tainted by massive contributions to advocacy groups like the American Lung Association. CFACT's Paul Driessen urges state and federal lawmakers and executives, and citizen and scientific groups, to take legal action and other steps to reverse this pattern of wanton disregard for the U.S. economiuc

House panel hopes to air inconvenient truths about EPA’s ‘war on coal’

Rep. Ed Whitfield was set to grill Janet McCabe -- the EPA Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation -- on the factual accuracy of statements in the agency's proposed rule governing carbon dioxide regulations for power plants. If only he also had called to testify a representative from the American Lung Association - which has received 591 EPA grants totaling over $43 million plus over 2,800 foundation grants totaling $76 million to ensure that they will never question the EPA's faulty science.

Yea! The overheated climate crisis debate is settled.

The crashing end to the global warmiing debate came recently, with the admission by the UN IPCC that there is a glaring disconnect between their climate model projections and observed real-world trends: Everyone now agrees (or admits) that the Earth has not been warming for the past 16 years. And yet, the same IPCC still makes outrageous claims (read bald-faced lies!) in its Fifth Assessment Report that every major natural weather event is extremely massive because of global warming.

Australia’s John Howard: One religion is enough

In his recent lecture before The Global Warming Foundation in London, former Australian Prime Minister John Howard addresses the "sanctimonious tone" of many to whom global warming has become a "substitute religion." An overriding feature of the debate, he notes, is the constant attempt to intimidate policy makers into following the party line that "the science is settled," when it is not. Rather than try to limit growth, Howard said, economists need to recognize that the world will have up to 2.2 billion new middle class consumers by 2030, and we need to provide goods and services for this emergent class.

COP 19: Realism dawns as nations pull back CO2 targets

As the Obama administration utilizes any excuse available to throttle down American energy production, other countries are headed in the opposite direction.

Fuel loads — not climate change — are making Australia’s bushfires more severe

While Al Gore and UN climate chief Christina Figueres insist that Austalia's repeal of its oppressive carbon tax is somehow linked to recent forest fires there, the truth -- as documented by CFACT Advisor Dr. David Evans -- is that UN-style forest management policies have left heavy fuel load (fallen trees and brush traditionally harvested by locals -- a practice now forbidden) is the major contributor to these fires being hotter and lasting longer.

Australians threw out the government that forced the carbon tax upon them as soon as they got the chance. Who will learn from the Aussie example?
