The UN climate science panel's job is to write a scary report before the UN holds its next big climate conference this December in Poland. That's exactly what they did.
In UN-speak it is called simply "loss and damage." This is the unfounded idea that people adversely affected by bad weather are "climate victims" and as such they should be compensated by the developed countries that supposedly caused the weather to be bad.
The CSSR is being prepared by the federal Global Change Research Program and has been in the works for several years, mostly under Obama and still staffed by diehard alarmists.

The Obama Administration is used to lying about nearly everything, so why not lie and claim that recent weather events are unprecedented, the sky is falling, and the seas are rising? Surely no mainstream "journalist" will challenge any of these claims! But real scientists do! And people are beginning to believe the truth and to doubt the veracity and even the intentions of the liars.
