New paper faults World Health Organization’s willful exaggeration

A new briefing paper by Dr. Indur Goklany examines the World Health Organization’s recent report on climate change and finds that its estimates of future mortality from global warming are grossly exaggerated. “Because of its willful exaggerations,” says Goklany, “the WHO study risks scaring people into taking ill-considered costly actions to limit greenhouse gases rather than focusing on higher priority global health issues such as hunger, malaria, and diarrhoeal diseases, which can be addressed at a fraction of the cost.”

Forget ISIS — White House Declares War on CO2

World leaders -- other than Barack Obama -- are ignoring the United Nations as it tries very hard to promote the New York City climate conference as a major event. Meanwhile, President Obama and his coterie have been taking great pains not to alienate their antiwar base while plotting air strikes against the Islamic State that the President says is not Islamic.

Attacks on carbon dioxide are political air pollution

Larry Bell finds that there is "not even a smidgen of evidence" to support the theory of climate change caused by carbon dioxide as a major threat to humanity. Indeed, an EPA internal report acknowledges that "there is no particular reason to rush into decisions based upon a scientific hypothesis that does not appear to explain most of the available data.”

Scientist reveals inconvenient truth to alarmists

Swiss geologist Dr. Christian Schluchter has found new evidence indicating that the Alps were pretty much glacier-free about 4,000 years ago, disproving long-accepted theories of climate alarmists that these glaciers only began retreating in the mid-19th Century. He also notes the Alps were nearly glacier-free again just 2,000 years ago, and notes that the current decline preceded the injection of extra carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. In response to negative reactions to his findings, Dr. Schluchter suggested that the reputation of science is becoming more and more damaged as politics and money gain influence over scientists.

New Congress must rein in runaway EPA

With the President and the unaccountable regulatory agencies joined by the Supreme Court in declaring Congress to be irrelevant in governing America, it is time for Congress to raise itself up from the dead and reestablish itself as the sole creator of new laws. Given that too many in Congress have gone along with this massive Presidential (and regulatory) power grab, this may require sweeping out a lot of dead wood from both chambers.

Obama climate report finds sky falling

The Obama Administration is used to lying about nearly everything, so why not lie and claim that recent weather events are unprecedented, the sky is falling, and the seas are rising? Surely no mainstream "journalist" will challenge any of these claims! But real scientists do! And people are beginning to believe the truth and to doubt the veracity and even the intentions of the liars.

Dr. Bengtsson confronts warming bias & bullies

"What is perhaps most worrying is the increased tendency of pseudo-science in climate research." Which is more troubling, that Dr. Lennart Bengtsson was bullied and slandered, or that the warming crowd suppressed publication of his conclusion that climate computer models are inaccurate? If temperature observations show climate sensitivity to CO2 to be far less than is programmed into the models, does this not demand scientific publication?

Alarmists blame conditions on global warming

The latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is chock full of alarmist statements not supported by science. So what else is new? CFACT advisor Larry Bell notes, among other things, that the Earth is some 14% greener than it was 30 years ago, thanks largely to increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Global warming’s tree ring circus brings us the costliest show on Earth

In the beginning Stephen Schneider believed in global cooling - then he flipped 180 degrees, rendering his global cooling book useless. Michael Mann invented the hockey stick to "prove" human-caused global warming, yet cherry-picked his tree rings and cheated on his data -- as did Phil Jones and friends in East Anglia. Yet their sins may have been equaled by the phony hearings conducted at Penn State and in the United Kingdom that ignored nearly all of the evidence except that presented by the guys on the griddle. No wonder the world is laughing!
