A new study by Canadian scientists once again debunks the notion polar bears are currently being harmed by global warming. Researchers with Canada’s Lakehead University found “no evidence” polar bears are currently threatened by warming.
Former Vice President Al Gore shocked Americans in “An Inconvenient Truth” when he said polar bears were drowning because global warming was melting Arctic sea ice, but now a new study shows that polar bears did just fine even when there was no ice covering the Arctic.
Polar bear populations in the Arctic are at record numbers (at least since humans started recording them), so it should be no surprise that all of a sudden President Obama is NOT talking about them. Instead, on his recent Alaska trip, he called for more icebreaker ships at a time he is also trying to claim that Arctic ice is shrinking (when it is not) and glaciers are retreating (which they have been doing for well over a century).

Recently the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said it would consider placing polar bears on the Endangered Species list. The reason isn't because polar bears are vanishing, but rather because certain environmental groups are concerned that if their fears about climate change ring true, the bears might in fact become endangered somewhere down the road. Polar bears are neither cuddly friends, nor drowning or starving because you live in freedom and prosperity. It is well past time to end polar bears as propaganda.
