It is astonishing how scientifically accurate data is used to create massive deceptions. Namely involving man’s ability to overpower Mother Nature and control the thermostat of planet Earth. While we are clearly not conspiracy theorists, man-caused global warming or climate change (take your pick) has been a mechanism used across the world to grow government, converge to a one-world government and defeat capitalism in favor of world socialism. The tool of choice is the use of well chosen facts, casting aside facts not considered useful in order to deceive. In science this is called cherry-picking. Lacking ethics, one chooses only the facts that support their beliefs while ignoring those that don’t.
In this first of a two-part series, we use material directly from government reports pointing out the information missing in order to make a dishonest presentation of information to the public.
The article below allows us to illustrate how NASA/ NOAA and the UN/IPCC promote deception, using deliberate omissions to create a false understanding for the casual reader.

In blue type following each segment of the NASA article, we provide commentary on the deceptions NASA has created. Without all the facts, the casual reader will arrive at the author’s desired false impression. An example of how incomplete information creates a false impression is shown in Figure 1. Here we consider all the data available on the relationship between A and B, which could be dependent variables such as how A (Sun’s radiation) and B (atmospheric temperature) vary with each other. Looking at all the data, the relationship shown as Trend 1 is clearly correct. However, if we choose to use only a small selection of data, we can arrive at any trend we desire. This is the technique many government agencies use to achieve false impressions.

The Causes of Climate Change [1]
Scientists attribute the global warming trend observed since the mid-20th century to the human expansion of the “greenhouse effect” [2] — warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.
[1] The deception is immediately launched by NASA failing to mention other and the most impactful causes of climate change: a)The Milankovitch cycles, which change the distance and orientation of the Earth to the sun, b) The solar magnetic cycles, c) Variations in the Earth‘s tectonic/volcanic heating, d) Variation in galactic cosmic ray flux and a few dozen other factors.
[2] Not true. Only a select group of “Consensus Scientists” say this. All scientists dedicated to the scientific method say that the human contribution to the greenhouse effect is trivial or none. Here, NASA makes a half-true statement, implying that human contribution is paramount and terrible. In reality, the GHE (greenhouse effect) warming is an essential requirement for all life on Earth. The Earth would be 30 degrees Celsius colder and a frozen and lifeless muddy ice ball without it.
Certain gases in the atmosphere block heat from escaping.[3] Long-lived gases that remain semi-permanently in the atmosphere and do not respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are described as “forcing” climate change. Gases, such as water vapor, [4] which respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature, are seen as “feedbacks.”
[3] A true statement that sets the stage for two misrepresentations, the “blocking” is not permanent, lasts only a short time. Secondly, it stages the next sentence where the phrase “ forcing climate change” implying it is unnatural, thus a terrible thing.
[4] NASA neglects to tell us water vapor accounts from 70 to 95% of the greenhouse effect and that its amount in the atmosphere is out of human control. NASA then again inserts the manipulative word “feedback,” implying that it‘s human-made.
Gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect include:
Water vapor.[5] The most abundant greenhouse gas, but importantly, it acts as a feedback to the climate. Water vapor increases as the Earth’s atmosphere warms, but so does the possibility of clouds and precipitation, making these some of the most important feedback mechanisms to the greenhouse effect.
[5] Again, NASA neglects to tell us more water vapor causes more clouds that increase the amount of sunlight reflected back to space, thus cooling the planet. It also fails to tell us that when water vapor condenses to water and ice crystals that form the clouds, that a significant amount of heat shoots off directly to space resulting in additional cooling of the Earth.
· Carbon dioxide (CO2). A minor but very important component of the atmosphere, carbon dioxide is released through natural processes such as respiration and volcano eruptions and through human activities such as deforestation, land use changes, and burning fossil fuels. Humans have increased atmospheric CO2 concentration by more than a third [6] since the Industrial Revolution began. This is the most important long-lived “forcing” [7] of climate change.
[6] False! Human-made CO2 may have increased by a third, but NASA fails to tell us that the major CO2 increase in the atmosphere is caused by non-human sources: (1) As we came out of the Little Ice Age in 1755, neatly coinciding with the start of the Industrial Revolution, the warming oceans have released bazillion tons of additional CO2 to the atmosphere. (2) scientists cannot tell the difference between human-made CO2 from volcanic CO2, and NASA/IPCC vastly underestimate the volcanic CO2 contribution. (3) About 90% of all volcanic, tectonic, and vent activities happen in the deepest oceans where scientists have no idea what is going on. (4) NASA fails to account for CO2 from inactive volcanoes.
[7] Another true but deceptive statement. Yes, it is the “long-lived,” but don‘t tell us that the human-made portion of the increase is only a few percentages of the total increase. Also, NASA repeats the trigger phrase “forcing” of climate change.
Methane.[8] A hydrocarbon gas produced both through natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation, as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane [9] is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere.
[8] Methane is more potent than CO2 but adds little to the “greenhouse” effect because there is so little of it. But is brought up because humanity does contribute a small amount. NASA does not tell us that the vast amounts come from the rotting biomatter, volcanic- tectonic-vent activities with much occurring under the oceans like the above CO2.
[9] Another true statement packing a powerful deception. As phrased, the reader is left to think that methane is almost as bad as CO2. Second, much of the methane can be easily removed from human sources by flaring it.
· Nitrous oxide. A powerful greenhouse gas produced by soil cultivation practices, especially the use of commercial and organic fertilizers, fossil fuel combustion, nitric acid production, and biomass burning.
· Chlorofluorocarbons [10] (CFCs). Synthetic compounds entirely of industrial origin used in a number of applications, but now largely regulated in production and release to the atmosphere by international agreement for their ability to contribute to destruction of the ozone layer. They are also greenhouse gases.
[10] CFCs are here only because it‘s human-made, allowing NASA to imply that here‘s another example of bad humans doing bad things to nature.
