Introductory Remarks by Craig Rucker of CFACT, Climate Sense Conference, Copenhagen

Ladies & Gentleman, mankind is in danger.  The threat is real.  Unless we, gathered here together resolve to take action there will be real and dire consequences.  Never before in my lifetime has the danger been so real, so close, so palpable.  The threat, however, is not from man-made global warming, but from man-made hysteria.  Yesterday, some 10,000 delegates representing over 180 nations flew into this lovely city for the start of the United Nations conference on Climate Change.  They represent the greatest threat to the health, safety, and standard of living for all mankind since the fall of twentienth century [...]

Monckton names names on Climategate

(December 7, 2009 – Copenhagen, Denmark)  Lord Christopher Monckton appears today in a powerful new video by CFACT in which he exposes the deceptions involved in Climategate, scientist by scientist. These scientists received more than $21 million in public funding, yet used deception to ensure that real world data did not interfere with the selling of global warming. “When you listen to Chris Monckton clearly, logically and succinctly take you through what transpired at the University of East Anglia, it's like having a bucket of cold water thrown in your face,” said CFACT's Executive Director, Craig Rucker. “This will surely wake people [...]

Climate Skeptics Gain Steam and Topple an Australian Liberal Leader

CFACT’s effort to promote sound science is really gaining steam and even the Financial Times recognizes that in a recent article. Mr. Turnbull was a leader in the Liberal Party in Australia and was removed from his position in part because of his alarmist views on global warming. The Australian Parliament went on to defeat the carbon trading scheme in a recent vote. CFACT’s executive director was quoted in the article: “Craig Rucker, director of the US-based Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, linked Mr Turnbull’s political demise to the “Climategate scandal” – the release a week ago by computer hackers of [...]

Scientific experts gather in Berlin to challenge UN scientific assumptions

"Climate Change Reconsidered" is a conference that featured prominent scientists like world renowned sea level expert Dr. Nils Axel Mörner discussing the fact that the scientific debate is not over and that economic analysis is more important than ever. The scientists expressed the view that global warming is not a crisis and that immediate action to reduce emissions is not necessary. This is, in fact, the emerging consensus view of scientists outside the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and most economists outside environmental advocacy groups.  The conference was the result of the collaborative efforts of the European Institute for Climate and Energy [...]

Is global warming from man?

Dr. S. Fred Singer is a lead author on the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) report, a distinguished atmospheric physicist, and a member of CFACT’s delegation to the Copenhagen Climate Summit.  He presented the NIPCC report in light of recent developments. “After reading the ClimateGate emails we have realized that global warming may be ‘manmade’ after all,” says Singer, referring to the ClimateGate scandal that revealed how scientists manipulated the data to produce graphs that are favorable to their way of thinking.

Climategate Caused Great Harm

“I shall now be reporting Phil Jones to the police for a financial and scientific fraud so enormous that, if it had succeeded, billions of people would have had to bear the cost via the Copenhagen Treaty, which we now know to be a non-solution to a non-problem,” says Monckton

Global Governance? Here’s How

“The EU model is being taken by the UN as a shining model of what they want to achieve at Copenhagen,“ says Lord Monckton. “At first it will appear to be a little technocratic committee, just like the European Union. Start small so nobody notices, but make sure that it is made by treaty so all countries are bound by it thereafter. A treaty is the only way that your constitution created by your founding fathers, can be overridden by foreigners.”

Climategate and U.S. political realities

"Det var i utgangspunktet lite sannsynlig at den amerikanske kongressen skulle gi klarsignal for kvotehandel. «Climategate» har lagt saken helt død. USA kommer ikke til å ratifisere noen avtale fra København eller forhandlingene neste år. Det er ikke politisk støtte blant velgerne."

Alarmists Reject Information

CFACT members challenged the demonstrators, asking why they weren't going in to watch the movie. 'Are you aware of the facts in the movie?' Ruffy asked Berthiaume. Berthiaume told him he'd seen the trailer, but was not interested in watching the film at this time."

Pseudoscience cesspool

Most important, the United States, Britain and all other responsible nations should slam the brakes on every proposed "climate crisis" treaty, agreement, bill, regulatory proposal, "endangerment" finding, and endangered species action. We must get to the bottom of this scandal and determine which data and claims are honest and accurate - and which are bogus, fraudulent and unfounded - before moving forward.
