New York Times carries CFACT’s ‘Climate Sense’ Conference

Excerpt from the New York Times: "Their numbers were small and former Vice President Al Gore was not among them. But the climate skeptics who met inside a stuffy second-floor gallery near this city’s Christianshavn neighborhood on Wednesday displayed at least as much passion for their cause as the environmental activists who have flocked to Copenhagen to push for action on global warming. We’re unified in the idea that these theories have not received a fair shake,” said Craig Rucker, the conference chairman. Still, even at this meeting those theories did not go unchallenged. John Vidal, environment editor for The Guardianin London, demanded [...]

Debate Heats Up At CFACT’s Conference In Copenhagen

A journalist from the "Guardian", a UK newspaper, debates Professor Niklas Nils-Axel Morner, an expert on sea level from Stockholm University. This journalist shows his bias when he starts to argue, instead of asking a question. Nils-Axel Morner was so incensed by this that he jumped up to defend himself and his research against this scientifically unfounded attack.

Lord Monckton on Climategate: Whistle Blower not

Climategate emails were released by a whistle blower, not a hacker according to analysis by CFACT Advisor Lord Christopher Monckton. One of the main arguments of the defenders of Climate Change is that the emails were illegally obtained by a "hacker". Lord Christopher Monckton provides evidence that an insider with access to the emails sent them out to help the world learn the truth about the misdeeds of these unethical scientists.

CFACT sponsors climate science conference: The debate is not over

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - A large group of UN delegates and journalists attended the Copenhagen Climate Challenge Conference at a famous historical building in downtown Copenhagen.  CFACT Executive Director Craig Rucker chaired the conference, which brought together accomplished scientists and policy experts to present scientific evidence that suggests the debate over the human influence on the climate is not settled.  From the beginning, the two day conference exceeded expectations and the mood was very upbeat.  The crowd was so large it flowed out the door and into the hallway.  Attendees heard world renowned climate scientist and Science & Environmental Policy Project President [...]

Energy Police: Serving and Protecting?

Will energy police and bureaucrats with clipboards soon be at your door, to monitor, limit and enforce your personal carbon footprint – and fine you for excess power consumption or possession of prohibited plasma television sets? This just-released video, "Energy Police: Serving and protecting?", offers a light-hearted look at a serious subject: life under the low-carbon regime being debated at the Copenhagen climate conference. The new 80-second video is part of CFACT’s All Pain No Gain educational program.“It’s funny, and some may think things like this could never happen,” commented Craig Rucker, executive director and co-founder of CFACT. “But when you look [...]

Financial Times: Craig Rucker a ‘militant sceptic’

Excerpt from Financial Times:  Some militant sceptics, such as Craig Rucker, director of the US-based Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, linked Mr Turnbull’s political demise to the “Climategate scandal” – the release a week ago by computer hackers of thousands of e-mails sent to and from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK. Political observers say Climategate had little effect on Mr Turnbull’s fate. They believe he was instead the victim of those within the Liberal party who regard an exchange-based trading scheme as an unjustified burden on the country’s economy.
