Wind power questioned by a well-reasoned website

There are a number of good websites that question the prevailing dogma on wind farms, but few actually engage in teaching. The Alliance for Wise Energy Decisions (AWED) is a gem in this regard. Not only does the site shine with careful reasoning, it actually teaches how to make clear and convincing arguments.

DC Swamp denizens strike back

Thanks to the efforts of Big Corn and other lobbyists, the American people will continue to be required to dilute their gasoline and diesel fuel (and their miles per gallon) with ethanol and biodiesel -- in increasing amounts. CFACT Senior Policy Advisor Paul Driessen recounts how the renewables mandates are harmful to the economy, the environment, and many of the vehicles that do not run well with these additives. One day, the people will win this war against harmful mandates -- just not this day.

Pruitt’s EPA ends “sue and settle” gravy train sham

CFACT policy analyst Larry Bell reports that President Trump's EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has dealt a death blow to the scurrilous practice of the EPA colluding with interest groups to alter public policy through staged litigation that denies opponents of their punitive schemes no opportunity for their own day in court.

Trying to perpetuate alarmist climate “science”

Analyst David Wojick reports that the Climate Science Special Report, soon to be released by the federal Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) as Volume I of the National Climate Assessment, is an alarmist document that would undermine all efforts to rein in the climate monarchy. Wojick calls for a Red Team review of the CSSR that would be entered as an official critique of the CSSR.

Fires far worse last century

Global warming campaigners want us to believe that history started yesterday; the better for them to "cherry pick" the starting point of a data series to create the false impression that natural phenomena are worse today than in the past. Their claims don't survive fact checking.

Will questioning climate change become illegal in Canada?

A climate pressure group wants a Canadian law enforcement agency to prosecute the International Climate Science Coalition and other U.S. and Canadian organizations for “misrepresenting the science” on climate change.

The EPA’s crooked prosecutors

CFACT Senior Policy Advisor Paul Driessen makes a strong case for full reversal of the EPA's "endangerment finding" it used to attack the coal industry and ultimately all fossil fuel energy -- the EPA lied, falsified documents, and excluded contradictory testimony from the hearings to ensure that fossil fuels did not get a fair trial.

Undo Obama’s massive land grabs

President Obama infamously said, "I've got a pen and I've got a phone - and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions." This he did with a vengeance. One of the most egregious areas he wielded his pen was in expanding federal control over wilderness areas with use of the “Antiquities Act.”
