Climate models hotter than reality

Global warming policy is based on climate computer models. These simulations of the temperature of the Earth are wrong and always have been. They start out on the left side of the graph looking pretty good.  They have to.  Real-world recorded temperature observations had already been made. It's like projecting the results of races that have already been run. As soon as the models start trying to project the future, however, they diverge wildly from reality, pretty much always running way too hot. Projecting races that have not yet run is a trickier business. Dr. Roy Spencer and Dr. John Christy [...]

Painting the sky to cool the planet?

Bill Gates and others have been funding research at Harvard University called the Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment (i.e., “SCoPEx”) to conduct solar geo-engineering in a way that could cool areas of the planet. The plan is to spread chalk dust in the stratosphere to deflect the sun’s rays to lower the temperature.

The Biden Climate Summit — speeding up to hit the wall harder

Biden's climate projects are not just big, they are monstrously big. Completely rebuilding our electric power system for example. Or replacing our internal combustion engines with battery powered electric motors. Or getting rid of natural gas heat in all its myriad uses. It has been firmly established that none of this can be done in the incredibly short times now being called for by national leaders.

Alarming climate exaggerations and policy mistakes — Biden’s 2021 Earth Day summit

President Biden's two day virtual "climate leader's summit" kicked off on Earth Day. The alarming claims made bear little resemblance to reality.  The "solutions" proposed would in the main cause massive economic pain and expense for little or no environmental benefit.  In some cases they would cause more environmental harm than benefit.
